I have been doing it since Pros Flexible schedule. Cons No benefits. I worked for Creative Memories, before they reorganized and redid everything. They still have great quality products and worth the price, when you think about how your storing your priceless memories forever. Pros Great Quality. Cons High amount for sales per quarter. Company went bankrupt. Pyramid company. Crafts stores offered better prices and you couldn't compete with that. You were required to order to big of an order to keep your id number.

However, this was very short lived because less than a month later we were huddled together in a room being told we were being let go because we were in bankruptcy. I left as soon as I was able to. It is a tough environment as Marketing runs the entire company, which results in being run like a start up.

It was a home-based multi-level marketing company. Loved the structure, loved the scrapbooking products Excellent place to work, able to learn and use new and old abilities. Typical day at work - everyday was a bit different, new challanges and situtations to work on and figure out. Learned many different things such as PLC programming, industrial electrician abilities, and use of my own inventions.

Management was excellent, always ready to help when needed. Workplace culture was excellent, not only making great products but working and helping the community. Hardest part of job was probably working in tight places and heavy parts to install.

Most enjoyable part of job was that I was able to complete most tasks with little or no supervision, and able to use my own ideas in many situtations.

Pros Employee perks. Cons Plant was shut down. Events can be time consuming and on weekends and evenings with no guarantee of sales. Most often though events are successful. Around they took on more projects than they could handle and the scrapbooking portion of their business which was profitable took a hit because of the losses in other ventures.

After their chapter 11 reorganization they lacked a clear vision and lost touch with what their loyal customers wanted. This company went out of business and restarted. It was a super fun company to work for when times were good. It was very stressful when times were not good. It is home sales and fun classes. You set your own hours. Traditional and digital scrapbooking. I am my own boss. In this business you deal with people of all ages, diversity and economic situations.

The hardest part of the job is lack of steady income. Most enjoyable part is working with people and being a part of their daily lives. Pros The friendships. Creative Memories is a direct sales company that sells scrapbooking materials. I love to scrapbook and do it basically to get the items I want at a discount. It is a job I hope to continue with even if I get a steady job as I enjoy what I do and the people I meet.

That is what creative memories was. It was selling products such as stickers, albums, paper, etc. It was also nice getting my product at a discount.
